As people get more access to technology, we have more demands for our time and attention. Multitasking may seem like a good idea but can be counterproductive. Try some tips to cut down on distractions like turning off email notifications, silencing your phone while you sleep or work, set up "no cell phone" times or zones at home and school, etc.
